Just as the world was opening up for everyone post Covid, I was forced to face up to the physical limitations of a replacement knee. I explored the sense of feeling trapped (in a fishing net), broke free and experienced the sense of grounding through immersing myself in mud. Attempting to swim with crutches was not so successful.
